Many times we post on our closed Facebook page and share the information when we see a pup running loose.
13. Q: Where do I park my car in Joyner Estates? If I'm going for a party/event in the neighborhood during the year?? I heard we shouldn't park on the street!
A: Yes, we are trying to alleviate heavy traffic and congested streets! If you MUST park on the street (for a limited time), please park on the EVEN side. EVEN number addresses. For example, you want to park on Jonathan ln... 6000, 6002, 6004, 6006, 6008 ect are EVEN numbers and you would park on that side. Not in front of driveways, of course! Use safe parking/driving practices and common sense! Be safe!
14. Q: Fireworks! What are the laws and where can I find information? I want to be respectful of my neighbors.
A: Georgia Laws can be found under Georgia.gov as far as what type you can buy legally in our state. I'll quote directly from their website: "Fireworks were really meant to be enjoyed during the holidays: 4th of July and New Years. Legally, you can only ignite fireworks up until a certain hour and they are as follows: New Years-until 1 a.m. Fourth of July-until Midnight and any other day- not after 9 p.m. Fireworks are banned within 100 yards of hospitals, nursing homes, prison, nuclear power plants and gas station or refinery. Fireworks are strictly prohibited in state parks." Please be mindful of your neighbors!
We rise by lifting others!
